Error Correction in Second Language Learning
Abstract
It is inevitable that all language learners make mistakes while acquiring a language. The stages and steps the learners follow help the teachers realize that the identification and analysis of errors provide them with feedback and useful information so that learners can have an effective acquisition of the language. This paper focuses on the importance of error correction, how much it is related to language fluency and accuracy. Through the analysis of a questionnaire we carried out, we observed how learners view correction, whether they consider it important in further developing their linguistic ability and acquiring accuracy.Downloads
