Abstract

Water pollution is increasingly becoming a major problem virtually in both developed and developing countries. Undoubtedly, there are numerous measures including legal interventions to control and curb water pollution so that people, in particular, ordinary people can have ample access to clean and fresh water to drink and use for other domestic activities. This paper looks at how the laws are being used to regulate and control water pollution in the United Kingdom (UK) and India through comparative research approach.
