Investigation of Relationship between "Happiness and Life Quality" and "Psychological Health" in Students of Grade-2 in High School of Rasht City, Iran
Abstract
The main target of this research is to determine a relationship between happiness, life quality and psychological health of students in grade-2 high school in Rasht City in 2013-2014 academic years. Statistical population in this research includes all students of grade 2 in high schools of Rasht City (865 people) who studied during 2013-2014 academic years. Statistical sample of the research included 150 female students of grade 2 in high schools of Rasht City in 2013-2014 academic years. They were picked based on Morgan Table and by means of random sampling. Correlation technique was used for analysis. Oxford’s happiness Index (OHI), short-form scale of life quality developed by global health (in Iran) and Reef’s psychological health scale (RspwB) were used for collecting data. Multiple regression analysis was used for verification and rejection of research hypotheses. Results showed that there is a significant relationship between happiness and life quality and psychological health in students of Rasht City High schools. In other words, students with higher levels of happiness and life quality have higher levels of psychological health.Downloads
