The positive development of youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and disabilities is a crucial aspect of fostering their well-being, inclusion, and overall quality of life. This article explores the significance of strength-based approaches in supporting Albanian youth with ASD and disabilities, emphasizing the role of education, social integration, and psychological empowerment. By shifting the focus from deficits to capabilities, we highlight strategies that enhance self-efficacy, resilience, and independence. Drawing on research in positive psychology and developmental frameworks, the study examines how supportive environments, tailored interventions, and community engagement contribute to the holistic growth of these individuals. Furthermore, we discuss the importance of policy initiatives, inclusive education, and family involvement in creating opportunities for meaningful participation in society. The findings underscore the need for a multidisciplinary approach that integrates educators, psychologists, caregivers, and policymakers in fostering a culture of acceptance and empowerment. Through this lens, we advocate for a shift in perspective—one that celebrates abilities, nurtures potential, and ensures that Albanian youth with autism and disabilities can lead fulfilling, self-determined lives.
