Abstract

In this paper, I am trying to provide some important information about the relations between Albanians and Hungarians during the Middle Ages. My research on this topic had many difficulties because in Albania there is a marked lack of either sources or studies. However, the temptation to research these relationships was not small, and I am summarizing the results of this research below. Relations between Albanians and Hungarians during the Middle Ages were mainly of two types; religious and secular (political and diplomatic). I have divided this article into three parts. In the first part it is about relations in the ecclesiastical world, while in the second part I’ll bring data about political and diplomatic relations in general. And the third part will be devoted to the relationship between Scanderbeg and the Hungarian princes, especially his relationship with John Hunyadi
